I think I forgot to mention that Karissa is on a baseball team through the city of Buena Park this year! Today was her first game. The rules are a little bit different. The kids get 5 pitches. They can call "time" if they have control of the ball and are in the infield. This means that the runners can no longer advance.
She had a great game! For a kid who has never played before, I was pretty impressed! She hit the ball every time she got up to bat! She did a pretty good job fielding the ball, too!
I kept threatening to stand up and say, "That's my BABY GIRL" every time she got up to bat. I refrained, though one time I said it loud enough to get a grin out of her. :) I will post pictures!
